Vietnam, increase border trade (Sylodium, Free international trade directory)

Vietnam will increase border trade to 16 billion U.S. dollars with China in 2015, according to Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade on Tuesday. The country will also work to lift border trade turnover with Cambodia to 5 billion U.S. dollars and to 2 billion U.S. dollars with Laos in 2015, said the ministry.

In 2012 alone, Vietnam posed 13.1 billion U.S. dollars from border trade with China, Cambodia and Laos. Vietnam shares over 4,500 kilometres of border lines with China, Cambodia and Laos. The country has 23 international border passes and 28 border economic zones.
