Oil prices drop in New York (By Sylodium, international trade directory)

Oil prices dropped in New York on Tuesday, ending just above 103 dollars a barrel. On the NYMEX, the Light Crude was down 46 cents, ending at 103.13 dollars a barrel, after fluctuating between 102.03 and 103.64 dollars.

The average price for retail gasoline fell a penny to $3.46 a gallon, Benchmark oil for November delivery fell 46 cents to finish at $103.13 a barrel, the lowest close since July 30. Oil has dropped 6.7 percent since closing at a two-year high of $110.53 on Sept.
